Transformation toys have been abundant in Midnight, and Patch 12.0.7 doesn’t break the trend! Here are all of the transformation toys Midnight has to offer so far, and where to find them.
Pango Plating
The
Pango Plating toy lasts for 60 minutes, with only a 10-minute cooldown. This transformation also persists through death and is not deactivated during combat, meaning if you want to play as a full-time pangolin, you can!

This toy is rewarded for completing the
Treasures of Zul’Aman achievement.
Hexed Potatoad Mucus
Sadly, the
Hexed Potatoad Mucus toy has a 20-minute cooldown, and the effect only lasts for 10 minutes—so no perma-potatoad. Nevertheless, it’s still a cool transformation toy to have!

To get this toy, enter the Atal’Aman delve and loot the chests in the following locations:
- /way 53.01 65.36 Sturdy Chest
- /way 52.99 57.94 Sturdy Chest
- /way 48.33 50.51 Sturdy Chest
Potatotoad Egg
The
Potatoad Egg allows you to carry your own mini potatoad. Enter the Blinding Vale dungeon and locate the Gravid Potatoad (to the left of the ramp leading to Ziekket). Use the
Hexed Potatoad Mucus toy and speak to the NPC, and voilà!

Saptor Salve
The
Saptor Salve toy transformation works the same as the
Pango Plating toy, so if you want to play as a permanent saptor, you can! This toy drops in the Blinding Vale dungeon, from Ziekket on Mythic difficulty.

This toy also changes saptor colour every time you use it!
Verdant Rutaani Seed
The
Verdant Rutaani Seed toy is unlocked with Renown 13 with the Hara’ti, and transforms you into one of the rutaani mobs from Harandar! This toy has a 1-hour cooldown, and deactivates during combat.
Madcap Redcap
Patch 12.0.7 brings a new transformation toy—the
Madcap Redcap. This toy drops from Rotmire in the new one-boss raid, Sporefall. This toy has a 1-hour cooldown, with the effect lasting for 20 minutes. The effect does however, persist through death.
