The Theater Troupe Event
If you’ve ever wanted to live out your Shakespearean dreams, The Theater Troupe on the Isle of Dorn is certainly not a bad way to do it. You can step into the limelight as an honorary member, doing various tasks like cleaning up fungus, dealing with drunkards, mopping up beer spills and killing living mushrooms and kobolds. You know, theater stuff.
Your Biggest Fan
All this in preparation for the main act of thespians killing other thespians. It must be the blood that brings out the most adoring fans, like Gerwigg. As you’ll know if you ever did one of these, he periodically show up next to you to share his fandom, and you can get some free audience approval from him. However, he probably wasn’t meant to leave the theater enclosure, but for some players he very much did, and then some!
There have been multiple reports of him bugging out with a flower bouquet, and following you wherever life takes you. He’ll go with you to the deepest delves…
…and the highest mountains.
All the while asking for autographs, and being as close to you as possible. In fact, so close to you that he’s not even clickable, not allowing you to send him on his merry way back to the theater. The audience must not approve.
One of the ways to get your own adoring fan appears to be to join a theater play, and then immediately leave. It seems the bug is still present in the latest 11.0.5 patch, and it looks like the only way to get rid of him is to relog.
You have to wonder if it’s possible to spawn multiple Gerwiggs by joining events and leaving, creating your own theater troupe on the go. Now that would be a novel way to experience WoW.
