Strategy Guide: Full Guide

A unique mechanic on this boss is the addition of Reaper Icon Reaper, where if you ever go below 10% HP, you will be attacked and very likely killed.

  • Tanks should keep the boss the boss in the center of the room, and the raid should utilize the points on the hexagon in the room as reference markers for where to place mechanics.
  • Tanks: Swap after each set of Void Shredders Icon Void Shredders. This will deal increasing amounts of damage and leave a DoT on the Tank.
  • Assassination Icon Assassination
    1. This will target a couple of players in the raid, and those players should move to one of the points on the hexagon.
    2. When Assassination Icon Assassination triggers a Nether Rift Icon Nether Rift will spawn. This will suck players into them when the boss triggers the ability.
    3. The Tank can move the boss to a space on the opposite side of the room to make the Nether Rift Icon Nether Rifts cancel each other out, and the raid can stand still in the middle of the room and not be moved!
  • After this, the boss will target players with Twilight Massacre Icon Twilight Massacre
    1. These images of the boss will charge toward the targeted player; they should once again go to one of the points on the hexagon.
    2. Nether Rift Icon Nether Rifts will spawn at these new locations, and it is once again up to the Tank to move the boss to a point in the room to counteract the Nether Rift Icon Nether Rifts.
  • Nexus Daggers Icon Nexus Daggers will also now be active. These show as distinct lines on the ground and then hit anyone in the path. These are very similar to the mechanic on Sylvanas in Shadowlands.
  • After two cycles of abilities, the intermission phase will begin
    1. During this phase, players will have Regicide Icon Regicide beams shooting from their sides. This is the same as the Blaze ability on Fyrakk.
    2. If you need to move, aim to move along your beam to make it easier for other players to dodge your beam.
  • This cycle repeats adding an additional Assassination Icon Assassination and Eclipse Icon Eclipse.
