Outlaw Rogue Mists of Pandaria: Remix Guide — The War Within Pre-Patch

Below, you will find our recommended leveling build and talent pickup order for your Outlaw Rogue in MoP Remix. Outlaw Rogue will want to make some changes depending on whether you are engaging in Raid content, or Dungeon and Open World content, so below you will be able to find builds for both activities.

Gems are one of the unique ways to augment your character in MoP Remix, offering offensive, defensive, and utility benefits. On this page, we list the best gems for each type. To learn more about Gems in MoP Remix in general, check out our dedicated page below.

• Meta Gem: Oblivion Sphere for personal DPS or Tireless Spirit to help out your fellow players.
• Cogwheel Gem: Blink
• Prismatic Gems:

  You will have a tremendous amount of stats as you start unlocking all Gem slots, and there is no single best stat to stack. Generally speaking, chase for Haste, Versatility, and Critical Strike Gems in a healthy balance as a lot of your damage will come from Tinker Gems, which do not scale with our Mastery.

  • Explosive Barrage
  • Enkindle
  • Quick Strike
  • Windweaver
  • Lightning Rod
  • Wildfire
  • Incendiary Terror
  • Fervor
  • Sunstrider's Flourish
  • Brilliance
  • Brittle — Mainly for dungeons.
  • Hailstorm
  • Slay
  • Storm Overload
  • Meteor Storm

To keep things as simple as possible while leveling and learning the spec, use the slider to select your level, to learn a little bit more about how and when to use the abilities you unlocked.

When using our slider, note that some talents may appear sooner than you expect them to in the rotation. This is because we have two recommended builds above, each taking talents at slightly different times, and sometimes entirely different talents.

1. Cast Ambush when you can open from Stealth, or whenever the ability to cast it is granted to you in some other way.
2. Use Adrenaline Rush on cooldown. Ideally, you want to try and pull multiple enemies when it is up so that you do not waste its uptime on running between enemies.
3. When fighting more than one enemy, use Blade Flurry.
4. Cast Roll the Bones whenever it is off cooldown.
5. Cast Slice and Dice to spend your Combo Points and maintain the buff.
6. Use Between the Eyes on cooldown with 4+ Combo Points.
7. Use Shadow Dance on cooldown. Use Ambush as your main builder while it is active.
8. Cast Eviscerate to spend excess Combo Points.
9. Cast Dispatch to spend excess Combo Points.
10. Cast Blade Flurry whenever there are multiple enemies at once. Try to always hit the highest health target with your abilities while it is active.
11. Cast Pistol Shot when you get an Opportunity proc unless it will cause you to overcap Combo Points.
12. Cast Sinister Strike unless you have 4+ Combo Points.
