Patch 8.2 Inscription Profession Changes

Below, you will find a summary of all the new recipes for Inscription in Patch 8.2. Most of them require the new Patch 8.2 Ink: Maroon Ink, which you make using Maroon Pigment, obtained from milling Zin'anthid, the new herb from Nazjatar.

Highborne Compendium of Swirling Tides is a new Patch 8.2 healing trinket of item level 400. It causes your healing spells to have have a chance to grant an ally an absorption shield that absorbs up to 8,441 damage for 12 seconds. While the shield is active, the target'ss Primary Stat is increased by 350. In the table below, you will find more information about the materials required and where/how to get the recipe.

Highborne Compendium of Sundering is a new Patch 8.2 physical DPS trinket with item level 400. It causes your attacks to have a chance to inflict Volcanic Pressure on the enemy, dealing 365 Fire damage every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. When Volcanic Pressure reaches 6 stacks it erupts, dealing 5,787 Fire damage to all nearby enemies. It causes your spells to have a chance to conjure a typhoon that travels towards enemies dealing 3,602 Nature damage and grant you 64 Haste for 15 sec, up to 258 Haste.
