• Volatile Concoction will deal raid wide damage based on your missing HP when it expires. Get healthy with Word of Glory or Lay on Hands before it expires.
• Mythic: Empyreal Ward will allow you to top yourself or the other tank to full health before Volatile Concoction triggers if they have a lot of Necrotic stacks.

• On cooldown.

• Keep the boss on top of any Voracious Worms to cleave them down.
• Tank Colossal Spiders next to the boss to cleave them down.

• Use Ardent Defender and Eye of Tyr for each set of Void Shredders.
• Avoid going below 10% HP, as the boss will try to kill you with Reaper.
• Divine Shield / Blessing of Spellwarding can allow you to stand in the zones during the intermission and not need to move. This gives the raid more space to avoid Regicide lines.

• On cooldown.

• Swap after each set of Void Shredders.
• Pay attention to where the raid has placed their mechanics and move the boss to the opposite side of the arena to counter the effects of Nether Rift.

• Cleanse Toxins can be used to dispel Poison Bolt in Phase 1.

• The Scarabs from Anub'arash can be stunned with Hammer of Justice.

• Phase 1: If you are taking Feast then use Ardent Defender for the initial hit and Word of Glory or Lay on Hands to heal the absorb shield off.
• Phase 1: If you are taking Liquefy then use Ardent Defender or Guardian of Ancient Kings. Immediately follow this up with a Word of Glory as your co tank will taunt the boss from you and you need to stay healthy for the DoT.
• Phase 3: If you are taking Infest then use Ardent Defender and run away. Run back to the boss and taunt it to save your co tank from Gorge.
• Phase 3: If you are taking Gorge then use Ardent Defender or Guardian of Ancient Kings. Get ready to use your Shining Light's and heal yourself. Survive until your co tank returns to taunt the boss.
• For all of the above you can opt to Divine Shield with Final Stand talented. This does not negate the damage, but will help you to buy some time for resources.
• If you are playing with Sentinel your reliance on defensive cooldowns will be lessened, but you may run into threat issues.
