Puzzling Cartel Chips Guide
This guide covers everything we currently know about Puzzling Cartel Chips—how they work, when they will be available, and where to spend them.
Introduction
Puzzling Cartel Chips, also referred to as 'dinars', are a special currency
introduced in Patch 11.1.5. They are designed as catch-up mechanic and bad luck protection for gear,
essentially tokens that let players buy specific Liberation of Undermine raid pieces directly from vendors,
instead of relying on RNG and drops.
When Will Puzzling Cartel Chips Be Available?
We do not know the exact date on when Puzzling Cartel Chips will become available on live servers.
However, Blizzard did confirm they will share more details about their implementation after Patch 11.1.5 goes live. We expect
them to be available later in the patch cycle.
How to Earn Puzzling Cartel Chips?
Right now, we do not know how to obtain Puzzling Cartel Chips. However, based on previous expansions, we speculate
they may drop directly from Liberation of Undermine raid bosses.
How Many Puzzling Cartel Chips Can You Earn Per Week?
This information is also unknown. Initially, only two Puzzling Cartel Chips were planned, when they were
tied to the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club raid Renown as rewards at
levels 17 and 19. However, the dinars were ultimately removed from the Renown track for Patch 11.1.0.
Where to Spend Your Puzzling Cartel Chips
Based on datamining, the vendor who will sell specific gear pieces is Ando, located inside the Liberation of Undermine raid. We will have more details on all the gear pieces you can buy with dinars when the system is implemented on live servers.
