Puzzling Cartel Chips Guide

Puzzling Cartel Chips, also referred to as 'dinars', are a special currency introduced in Patch 11.1.5. They are designed as a catch-up mechanic and bad luck protection for gear, essentially tokens that let players buy specific Liberation of Undermine raid pieces and Mythic+ trinkets directly from a vendor, instead of relying on RNG and drops.

The first 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips will become available to players on May 13 (in North America) and May 14 in Europe.

Puzzling Cartel Chips are obtained by completing a new weekly quest that you can pick up near the bank by interacting with a poster on the wall to your right as you enter the building.

The quest is called Ultra Prime Deluxe Turbo-Boost Powerhouse Challenges and to complete it, you must kill 4 Liberation of Undermine raid bosses on any difficulty or complete any 4 Mythic Dungeons.

Completing the weekly quest will grant you you 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips the first time, and 1 Chip per week for after that, up to a maximum of 9 Chips per character.

To spend your Puzzling Cartel Chips, visit Consultant Wrexxle in Dornogal located just outside of the bank building in Dornogal. She offers a select group of curated items from the Liberation of Undermine raid such as weapons, trinkets, as well as Mythic+ trinkets.

The TomTom command for the vendor is /way #2339 52.35 46.11 Consultant Wrexle.

Hero-Track gear can be purchased with only the required amount of Puzzling Cartel Chips. You can only start buying Myth-Track dungeon trinkets when you complete all Season 2 Mythic+ dungeons at Keystone 12 or higher. Myth-Track raid gear requires you to have defeated the relevant raid boss on Mythic difficulty. Keep in mind the Myth-track gear requirements are not account-wide and are character-specific.

Each item costs 3 Puzzling Cartel Chips. This means you will be able to buy your first item during the week of May 13, your second item during the week of June 3 and the final third item during the week of June 24.
