Talent and Essence Cheatsheet
Abyssal Commander Sivara
We advise you to use the following essences against Abyssal Commander Sivara.
- Major Slot
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Memory of Lucid Dreams + Lucid Dreams
- Minor Slots
- The Ever Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
Tips
Use Tiger Dash and any other mobility to help soak Overflow. Make sure you move out of the pools dropped by Overflow as soon as possible to not get extra stacks.
You should alternate usage of Incarnation: Tree of Life and Flourish with Tranquility for Overwhelming Barrage and Unstable Mixture explosions that follow. Check for Crushing Reverberation timer to not get knocked back during Tranquility cast.
For more information, please refer to our Abyssal Commander Sivara strategy guide.
Blackwater Behemoth
We advise you to use the following essences against Blackwater Behemoth.
- Major Slot
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Memory of Lucid Dreams + Lucid Dreams
- Minor Slots
- The Ever Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
Tips
Make sure you track Bioluminescence on your raid frames. Only people with this debuff will be able to receive healing.
You can use Wild Charge in Aquatic Form for an underwater sprint, which can be useful during the intermission to get to the boss more quickly, or during Shock Pulse to move away from the boss.
Efflorescence will be less useful than it usually is due to fight mechanics. It will still heal people swimming slightly above it, but not too far.
For more information, please refer to our Blackwater Behemoth strategy guide.
Radiance of Azshara
We advise you to use the following essences against Radiance of Azshara.
- Major Slot
- The Ever Rising Tide — Rank 3: Overcharge Mana + The Ever-Rising Tide
- Minor Slots
- The Well of Existence — Rank 3: The Well of Existence
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
Tips
Pay attention to the position of players with Arcane Bomb before you dispel them.
Do not cast Wild Growth on the boss. The hit box is too large and it will try to bounce off the center of it, healing nobody.
Use your cooldowns for Unshackled Power casts.
You can use Bear Form Wild Charge to get back to the add during intermissions after knockback.
Use Typhoon and Ursol's Vortex to help interrupt the Stormling adds as they cast.
For more information, please refer to our Radiance of Azshara strategy guide.
Lady Ashvane
We advise you to use the following essences against Lady Ashvane.
- Major Slot
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Memory of Lucid Dreams + Lucid Dreams
- Minor Slots
- The Ever Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
Tips
Rippling Wave will cause periodic bursts of damage on the raid after people start soaking the orbs. Make sure you track the Waterlogged debuff and its stacks. Players with this debuff will be at higher risk of dying to raid damage. You should spread your healing cooldowns and time them after a few orbs were already soaked.
In general, the first wave in any shield phase would be slightly easier, due to having less orbs. If you are aiming to have the most impact with your cooldowns, try to time them for the waves, as Ashvane's shield has less absorb on it.
For more information, please refer to our Lady Ashvane strategy guide.
Orgozoa
We advise you to use the following essences against Orgozoa.
- Major Slot
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Memory of Lucid Dreams + Lucid Dreams
- Minor Slots
- The Ever Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
Tips
Tanks will take massive damage in this fight, and are required to be topped up in order to soak Amniotic Splatter. Make sure you keep Lifebloom on them and use the Rampant Growth Azerite trait.
Pace your Mana to have more of it left towards the end of the fight, as the damage will increase with more and more players getting affected by Incubation Fluid.
For Mythic difficulty, you should pre-pot with Potion of Unbridled Fury and DPS for the first minute at the very least. Make sure you keep Efflorescence down at all times, keep Sunfire on Zoatroids whenever possible. Your goal in the first phase should be to be to have all your cooldowns rolling at some point between 3:00 and 4:15 into the fight, as the damage during this portion will be significantly higher. Use Tranquility at any point after the dance and before or during the Arcing Current cast. Use Potion of Replenishment as you come down for the second phase. Even if you were at 0 Mana going into it, you should get enough from the potion to last you until Orgozoa dies.
For more information, please refer to our Orgozoa strategy guide.
The Queen's Court
We advise you to use the following essences against The Queen's Court.
- Major Slot
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Memory of Lucid Dreams + Lucid Dreams
- Minor Slots
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
- Vision of Perfection — Rank 3: Strive for Perfection
Tips
Zealous Eruption deals a huge amount of damage to anyone outside the bubble area around Silivaz, most often just the tank who is on the other boss.
Time your burst healing around the first or second Potent Spark exploding.
Try to save Incarnation: Tree of Life for Deferred Sentence, unless it means delaying your cast by a few minutes.
Obey or Suffer causes Suffering whenever a player is damaged, making that player healing immune for 5 seconds. Make sure to track it on your raid frames.
With the Inner Peace talent and Strive for Perfection Essence, you can use Tranquility on every spark wave, assuming you start with the first spark on the first wave. Your cooldown, depending on the neck level, will be slightly longer than 1:30, while sparks spawn every 1:30.
For more information, please refer to our The Queen's Court strategy guide.
Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha
We advise you to use the following essences against Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha.
- Major Slot
- Memory of Lucid Dreams — Rank 3: Memory of Lucid Dreams + Lucid Dreams
- Minor Slots
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
- The Well of Existence — Rank 3: The Well of Existence
Tips
Dread will be causing massive damage to the raid whenever it is dispelled. Make sure you land a Wild Growth and spot heal low Health players before the second one is dispelled.
Players inside the Delirium Realm cannot be healed. Focus on keeping people in the other realm healthy instead, and on dispelling Shattered Psyche from whoever dies inside the Delirium realm.
Meanwhile, players inside the Fear Realm will take increasingly high damage from stacking Hysteria debuffs, requiring high healing towards the end of the phase. Make sure you have all your healing cooldowns ready for this part of the fight.
On Mythic difficulty, raids will generally remove all Dreads at the same time for a very big burst of damage, generally for more than full Health of most players before damage reductions. You should start ramping early and make sure nobody is below maximum Health. Save Barkskin only for this mechanic.
For more information, please refer to our Za'qul, Harbinger of Ny'alotha strategy guide.
Queen Azshara
We advise you to use the following essences against Queen Azshara.
- Major Slot
- The Crucible of Flame — Rank 3: Concentrated Flame + Ancient Flame
- Minor Slots
- The Ever Rising Tide — Rank 3: The Ever-Rising Tide
- Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife
Tips
The healing requirements on this fight are pretty low, while the damage checks can be tough to beat. As such, you should use Concentrated Flame Major essence to help with those. Save and use both charges on Overzealous Hulk in Phase 1. Use it on cooldown in other phases, unless you have to nuke one of the Loyal Myrmidons fast.
Only dispel the Arcane Burst when they do not have anyone else in their line of sight. Consider saving Barkskin if you have to do it yourself and make sure you are full Health before doing so.
Players under the effect of Beckon will be unable to use personals or line of sight any other mechanic that might kill them. You should put at least Rejuvenation on them and spot heal with Regrowth as soon as they take any damage. Combos of Charged Spear breaking Crystalline Shield and Arcane Burst getting dispelled can often kill them in a fraction of a second.
In the final phase, Void Touched will cause tanks to be increasingly hard to heal. Use your cooldowns on the Console's Controlled Burst uses.
