Overview
Shad'har the Insatiable's breath changes its damage type and secondary effect based on the mantle currently being worn.
As Shad'har the Insatiable eats, his body changes to match the material consumed.
- Make sure that neither tank has both Crush and Dissolve at the same time.
- Avoid Shad'har the Insatiable's breath attacks.
- Shad'har the Insatiable's damage increases noticeably after casting Frenzy.
- Debilitating Spit initially inflicts high single target damage, then changes to damage multiple targets as it spreads through the group.
- Avoid Shad'har the Insatiable's breath attacks.
- Tanks will be taking high damage after Shad'har the Insatiable casts Frenzy.
- Use any abilities you have to reduce damage taken from Debilitating Spit.
- Avoid Shad'har the Insatiable's breath attacks.
- Move away from other players if targeted by a Living Miasma to avoid hitting allies with Slurry Outburst.
Crush and Dissolve
Shad'har the insatiable casts a combination of Crush and Dissolve at his main target, and randomizes between different combinations.
Crushes the targets armor, inflicting 325,539 Physical damage, increasing Physical damage taken by 50% and increasing damage taken from Dissolve by 400%. This effect stacks.
Bites the target with acidic jaws, inflicting 18,602 Nature damage and additional 32,509 Nature damage every 1 sec for 20 sec. This effect stacks.
Covers the target in a vile spit, inflicting 13,003 Nature damage every 1 sec for 5 sec and initially applying 7,430 applications. Upon expiration, Debilitating Spit jumps to new targets, giving each new target half the previous target's total amount of stacks.
The pools around the room coalesce into Living Miasma, which fixate on random targets. When they reach their target, they cast Slurry Outburst.
The caster explodes, inflicting 139,503 Shadow damage to all players within 10 yards.
Stage One: Shadowy Carapace
Shad'har the Insatiable begins with a stomach full of shadowy material, gaining Umbral Mantle and Umbral Breath.
A dark carapace envelops Shad'har the Insatiable, which explodes every 20 sec, inflicting 18,566 Shadow damage every 1 sec to all players for 5 sec.
Expels a shadowy breath, inflicting 93,011 Shadow damage to all enemies in a cone in front of Shad'har the Insatiable.
Stage Two: Void-tinged Carapace
At 66% health, Shad'har the Insatiable consumes a void-tinged carcass, morphing his abilities into Entropic Mantle and Entropic Breath.
A void-tinged carapace envelops Shad'har the Insatiable, inflicting 5,580 Shadow damage and additional 3,715 Shadow damage every 1 sec to all players for 30 sec. This effect stacks.
Expels a shadowy breath rapidly, inflicting 74,466 Shadow damage to all enemies in a cone in front of Shad'har the Insatiable.
Stage Three: Noxious Carapace
At 33% health, Shad'har the Insatiable consumes a noxious carcass, morphing his abilities into Noxious Mantle and Bubbling Breath.
A noxious carapace envelops Shad'har the Insatiable, inflicting 27,865 Nature damage to all players every 3 sec.
Expels a toxic breath, inflicting 93,011 Nature damage to all enemies in a cone in front of Shad'har the Insatiable.
At 33% Health, Shad'har the Insatiable frenzies, increasing damage dealt by 25%.
