Shadow Priest PvP Useful Macros — The War Within (11.0.7)
Macros are crucial to be successful in PvP. They allow players to use abilities on enemies without having to target them. This helps increase overall damage/healing and general awareness in the arena. Here are a few macros that all Shadow Priests can benefit from.
This page is part of our Shadow Priest PvP Guide.
Silence 123 Macro
- #showtooltip Silence
- /cast [target=arena1] Silence
Using this macro will cast Silence on arena enemy 1.
This makes it easier to crowd control an enemy while staying focused on
your target. If you want macros for the second and third enemies,
simply change the arena1 to arena2 or arena3.
Silence Focus Macro
- #showtooltip Silence
- /cast [target=focus] Silence
If you find that you do not have much room on your action bars, you
can use a focus macro. This is much simpler to use than the arena123
macro. Put an enemy on focus and this macro will use Silence
on that player while you are still focused on your target.
Void Shift Party Member Macro
- #showtooltip
- /cast [target=PUTNAMEHERE] Void Shift
This macro will use Void Shift on whichever player you put
in the macro. It is recommended that you make a macro for both of your arena
partners.
Leap of Faith Party Member Macro
- #showtooltip
- /cast [target=PUTNAMEHERE] Leap of Faith
This macro will use Leap of Faith on whichever player you put
in the macro. It is recommended that you make a macro for both of your arena
partners.
Psychic Horror 123 Macro
- #showtooltip Psychic Horror
- /cast [target=arena1] Psychic Horror
Using this macro will cast Psychic Horror on arena enemy 1.
This makes it easier to crowd control an enemy while staying focused on
your target. If you want macros for the second and third enemies,
simply change the arena1 to arena2 or arena3.
Focus Dispel Magic
- #showtooltip
- /stopcasting
- /cast [@focus] Dispel Magic
This macro will use Dispel Magic on the target you have set to
Focus. This will make it easier to use without having to manually target
who you want to Dispel Magic.
