Learn everything about unlocking and exploring Siren Isle, the latest zone in Patch 11.0.7, including quests, rewards, and activities.
Introduction
Welcome to our guide to the Siren Isle in Patch 11.0.7. Here, you will learn everything about the mine Kul Tirans used to farm Azerite during Battle for Azeroth. We start by explaining how to unlock the new zone, what activities you can complete, here, and more.
How to Unlock the Siren Isle
To unlock the Siren Isle, head to the Foundation Hall in Dornogal and talk to Dawn, located on the right side as you pass Alleria and Khadgar.
Accept The Expedition Awaits and meet with Skaggit by the East Gate of Dornogal.
How to Return to the Siren Isle from Dornogal
If you would like to return to the Siren Isle from Dornogal, you must talk to Sky-Captain Cableclamp, who is located on a ship near the East Gate of Dornogal. Her exact location is marked on the map below.
Returning to Dornogal from the Siren Isle
When in the Siren Isle hub, click the rope to reach the Zeppelin and talk to the NPC to head back to Dornogal.
Mole Machine to Gundargaz
When you are at Flotsam Shoal, you can interact with a Mole Machine that will take you outside Gundargaz in the Ringing Deeps.
Likewise, you can return from Gundargaz to the Siren Isle through the same Mole Machine.
Cyrce's Circlet
Cyrce's Circlet is a powerful ring you will unlock after 7 minutes of questing in the new zone. You can upgrade it and unlock various effects that are active on the isle.
Discover how to upgrade the ring and the gems you can collect in our comprehensive guide.
Flame-Blessed Iron
Flame-Blessed Iron is the main currency obtained by doing anything on the isle. You can trade it in for alt catch-up gear, mounts, pets, and transmog. You can also Flame-Blessed Iron to open one of three Excavation sites on the island, presenting a face-off against a Rare Elite for unique rewards.
Flying on the Siren Isle
Flying is restricted at the beginning due to the High Winds debuff. However, after fully upgrading Cyrce's Circlet, you will receive the Wings of the Siren passive that allows you to take flight on the Siren Isle. Alternatively, you can fly with the Experimental Go-Pack. Simply, purchase them from Sally Boltwrench at Flotsam Shoal for 10 Flame-Blessed Iron after completing the Peak Precision quest. The item is a consumable that shoots you in the air and provides you with a glider.
Siren Isle Events
On the Siren Isle, you can defeat Rare Elites, open Treasure Chests, complete Excavations, and a new Special Assignment called Storms A Brewin.
Special Assignment: Storms A Brewin
The Siren Isle is periodically attacked by the storm, causing powerful creatures to spawn and assault the island. Your goal is to defend the camp by defeating various foes.
New Public Event: Excavatons
3 major excavations hosted by members of the expedition teams await you on the island. Clicking on the Mission Table lets you contribute Flame-Blessed Iron to open Shuddering Hollow, The Drain, and The Drowned Lair.
Once 150 Flame-Blessed Iron has been deposited, you will see a timer on the map with the excavation location marked with an icon. Hovering over it will inform you when the cave opens. For example, here is The Drain.
Once the countdown reaches 0, you can enter the cave. Note that the explosives will not kill you.
Inside the cave, you must defeat a Rare Elite. Upon killing it, the excavation will end.
Major Excavation Rewards
When you complete an excavation, you will receive a Crate of Bygone Riches. The crate contains valuables like Flame-Blessed Iron, Valorstones, crests for gear upgrading, gems for your Cyrce's Circlet, and Item Level 584 Veteran gear.
Siren Isle Alt Catch-Up Gear
At Flotsam Shoal, seek out Argarom, who sells account-wide catch-up gear for alts! You can purchase Item Level 584 Veteran gear from him with Flame-Blessed Iron. The exact price depends on the item slot.
Here are the exact costs of the catch-up gear.
