The Enlightened Reputation and Rewards Guide in Shadowlands

The Enlightened reputation faction is unlocked early on in your time experiencing Patch 9.2 when you first visit the new zone of Zereth Mortis. To learn more about what else this zone has to offer, please see our overview below.

The Story Campaign of Patch 9.2 and Zereth Mortis gives you reputation as you progress through it:

1. Week 1:
   • Chapter 1, Into the Unknown: 550 Reputation total
   • Chapter 2, We Battle Onward: 1425 Reputation total
   • Chapter 3, Forming an Understanding: 125 Reputation total, Daily Quests unlocked, World Quests unlocked, Side Quests unlocked (required for Flying in Zereth Mortis), and Patterns Within Patterns biweekly Quest unlocked
2. Week 2:
   • Chapter 4, Forging a New Path: 500 Reputation total
3. Week 3:
   • Chapter 5, Crown of Wills: 500 Reputation total
4. Week 4:
   • Chapter 6, A Means to an End: 500 Reputation Total and A Means to an End Achievement (required for Flying in Zereth Mortis)
5. Week 5:
   • Chapter 7, Starting Over: 500 Reputation Total and Unity Legendary in the Waist slot

Additionally, you can gain reputation from the following sources:

1. World Quests: 125 Reputation each. 3 available per day
2. Patterns Within Patterns Weekly Quest available after Chapter 3 of the Campaign – 1250 Reputation
3. First kills of Bosses and Mini Bosses each week in Sepulcher of the First Ones will drop 50 Reputation Each.
4. The Jailer will drop 250 Reputation one time per week.
5. The Quest to defeat the Jailer will award 1000 Reputation.
6. A majority of Rare mobs will drop 10 Reputation
7. Rare mobs found in the Endless Sands area will drop 15 Reputation
8. World Boss Antros World Quest: 500 Reputation.
9. Using Contract: The Enlightened will give you 10 Reputation for every world quest you complete in all zones of the Shadowlands. Note that you must be at least Friendly with The Enlightened to use this Contract.
10. Teachings of the Elders: 75 Reputation looted from Stolen Scroll (34,67 on top of the pillar)
11. Enlightened Offering: 75 Reputation looted from Offering to the First Ones (34,56 on the cliff edge in a scroll)
12. Eternal Curio: 100 Reputation (Bind on Account Item – source unknown)

If you wish to focus on gaining extra reputation with The Enlightened you can buy a Contract: The Enlightened from the Auction House. These can be crafted with Inscription and the technique is purchasable when you are Revered with The Enlightened.

If you do all 3 daily quests per day, complete both Patterns Within Patterns quests each week, complete the Campaign, and kill the World Boss each week, it will take you 32 days to become Revered, and 73 days to become Exalted.

However, killing some of the rares in Zereth Mortis every day will drastically lower this time period. For example, if you kill 10 rares per day and 1 rare from the Endless Sands area per day in addition the above, you can expect to be Revered after 27 days, and Exalted after 60 days.

If you kill more Rare mobs per day, kill bosses in Sepulcher of the First Ones, and/or use Contract: The Enlightened you can expect to hit Revered and Exalted sooner yet.

The quartermaster for The Enlightened is Vilo, who can be found in Haven in Zereth Mortis; Coordinates 34,64.

The rewards for The Enlightened are as follows:

Revered	Memory of Unity	Legendary Power	The Legendary Recipe for the new Covenant Legendary Unity. This allows you to craft the Legendary on any character in any armor slot
Revered	Technique: Glyph of the Spectral Lupine	Inscription Technique	A recipe to create a Glyph for Shamans to make their Ghost Wolf have a Spectral Lupine appearance
Revered	Technique: Contract: The Enlightened	Inscription Technique	A recipe for Inscriptionists to create a Contract: The Enlightened, which gives the player 10 reputation for each World Quest completed that week.
Revered	Decanter of Untapped Potential	Conduit	This item will increase the item level of all Conduits to 239
Revered	Anointed Protostag Reins	Mount	This mount resembles the stags which can be seen around Zereth Mortis
Revered	Lens of Focused Intention	Protoform Synthesis Reagent	A crafting reagent used to create the Adorned Vombata and Russet Bufonid mounts
Exalted	Broker Translocation Matrix	Toy	This toy act as a Hearthstone, but with a unique Broker-themed effect
Exalted	Eternal Augment Rune	Augment Rune	A 1-minute cooldown Augment Rune, giving identical bonuses to Veiled Augment Rune. This item is not consumed on use.
Exalted	Tabard of the Enlightened	Tabard	A tabard with the Enlightened Faction logo in Black & Gold
Exalted	Heartlight Stone	Mount	This mount resembles the Vombata beasts which can be seen around Zereth Mortis

As with the other reputations of the Shadowlands, you can continue to gain favor with The Enlightened beyond Exalted in exchange for further rewards. For every 10,000 reputation gained above Exalted, you will be able to receive Enlightened Broker Supplies which can contain the following unique rewards in addition to a variety of profession materials, gold, and Cosmic Flux:
