Lore
Trilliax is the third boss in the Nighthold.
Trilliax, once proud servant to the nightborne aristocracy, has been discarded and left to slowly deteriorate among other surplus constructs. While an unwavering will to carry out its tasks remains, the passage of time has splintered this construct's personality matrix. It now unpredictably switches from one mode to the next, ranging from doting caretaker to homicidal sterilizer, craving recognition and validation from a master that no longer exists.
Outline
Trilliax is a 3-phase encounter in the Nighthold. This is a high movement, single target encounter that mostly focuses on environmental awareness. While it is mechanically uncomplicated overall, it can harshly punish players who make mistakes.
TL;DR
Tanks
- Stack together for Arcane Slash and perform a taunt swap every 2 stacks of the debuff.
- Kite Trilliax around the edges of the arena to avoid the Arcane Seepage.
- If necessary, jump on Scrubbers to prevent them from finishing their Cleansing Destruction cast.
Healers
- Plan raid cooldowns for Mana Rupture.
- Pay special attention to players with Toxic Slice.
DPS
- Hit the boss.
Everyone
- Avoid Arcane Seepage pools.
- Eat a Toxic Slice to get a debuff, but avoid getting 2 stacks unless you have personal cooldowns ready.
- Stack on your partner if you are afflicted with Arcing Bonds.
- Avoid Annihilation during the Maniac phase.
- Eat a Succulent Feast, if assigned, and soak the Scrubbers to prevent them from finishing their Cleansing Destruction cast.
Mythic Notes
- Trilliax's Imprint will appear occasionally, and perform abilities opposite to his current personality. If it reaches full Energy it will wipe the raid.
Bloodlust/Heroism/Time Warp
Bloodlust should be used when engaging Trilliax, as there are few mechanics taking place and movement is at a minimum.
