Unholy Death Knight DPS Sanctum of Domination Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.2.5

During the Dragonflight Pre-Patch, Castle Nathria, Sanctum of Domination, and Sepulcher of the First Ones will be simultaneously featured as Fated Raids. During this time encounters within each specific raid will include an additional mechanic and items will drop at increased item levels. On this page, you will find Unholy Death Knight-specific information to deal with each boss in the Sanctum of Domination raid.

This page assumes that you already understand most of the mechanics of each encounter. These can be found on the full raid guide, so what is contained here are details specifically tailored toward Unholy Death Knights and what you can do to deal with each fight as best as possible.

We recommend the following talent setup for all bosses, and you can import it easily with the following string:

• In order to engage this encounter you will need to kill the Infused Goliaths. When defeated they will drop an Anima Orb with 3 choices of powers. Once you have defeated all 4 Infused Goliaths the boss will spawn.
• When it comes to your choices, there is generally always a clear-cut option. Do not pick anything that can potentially have a negative impact on your group. Otherwise, just pick up the DPS power that can be chosen.
• You can soak Chains of Eternity with Icebound Fortitude.
• Heroic: You can soak Remnant: Soulforge Heat with Anti-Magic Shell and not receive any debuffs.
• Mythic: Anti-Magic Shell will no longer prevent debuffs from Remnant: Soulforge Heat.

• Death's Advance can be used to avoid the pulling effect from Dragging Chains.
• You can use Death's Advance + Anti-Magic Shell to run through the Annihilating Glare.

• You can grip Formless Mass adds, use Death Grip to do so.
• Death's Advance can be used to help with the pull/push effects of the encounter.

• You can use Death's Advance to dodge the huge knockback. Ideally you should use it for the second cast on Heroic.

• Mawsworn Agonizers can be gripped. Use Death Grip and Abomination Limb to help group them up.

• The Flameclasp Traps leave a stacking debuff when they blow up. Your raid should stagger them but Anti-Magic Shell is still useful to prevent the debuff stacking on yourself.
• Use Anti-Magic Zone when the tank runs out with the debuff or when your raid is triggering the Flameclasp Traps.
• Make sure to align your Abomination Limb for the adds that spawn after the intermission (Mythic).

• Use Anti-Magic Zone for when your raid stacks up to tank the Purging Protocol.
• Another possible usage of Anti-Magic Zone is when the Energy Cores explode, dealing magic damage to everyone in the raid.

We advise you to use the following Legendaries against Fatescribe Roh-Kalo.

• You can pre-immune the application of Twist Fate with Anti-Magic Shell. The application is random so there is only a chance that you can make it work.
• Use Anti-Magic Shell to run across beams in the intermission phase. This is particularly important if you are running the central rune!

• Anti-Magic Shell can avoid the root when soaking Frost Blast.
• Wraith Walk can be used to remove the root if you do not use Anti-Magic Shell.
• Both Shadow Fissure and Foul Winds can be dodged by using Death's Advance.

• Shadow Dagger can be dodged by pre-using Anti-Magic Shell. The application is random so there is only a chance you will dodge it.
• You can use Death's Advance to avoid the pulling effect of Domination Chains.
• Banshee's Bane applies stacks that can be avoid by using Anti-Magic Shell.
• Don't pick Soul Reaper on this fight, it is essentially worthless.
