Vengeance Demon Hunter Tank The Eternal Palace Raid Guide — Dragonflight 10.2.5

In this section, you will find information and guidance for tanking each boss individually in the Eternal Palace raid as a Vengeance Demon Hunter. These are not complete encounter guides, but rather provide specific tips for tanking the bosses as a Vengeance Demon Hunter.

The tips on this page are based on PTR testing alone and may not reflect the state of encounters on live servers. This page will be updated with new information once the encounters have been experienced and killed on their respective difficulties.

We advise you to use the following essences against Abyssal Commander Sivara.

• Major Slot
  • Azeroth's Undying Gift — Rank 3: Azeroth's Undying Gift + Hardened Azerite
• Minor Slots
  • Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
  • Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife

• If you have Toxic Brand, then stand still as much as possible.
• If you have Frost Mark, then jump in place or move side to side to keep from freezing.
• Swap around 5 stacks or when the barrage is cast.
• Use Infernal Strike to drop your debuff on the edge of the room.
• The damage from Crushing Reverberation can be eaten by Demon Spikes or standing with others.

• Major Slot

• Minor Slots

• Swap when Radiant Biomass is about to fall off.
• Do not get Bioluminescence from the pufferfish.
• When going to the next platform, wait until your healing debuff drops before traversing the jellyfish.

• Major Slot

• Minor Slots
  • Nullification Dynamo — Rank 3: Null Barrier
  • Conflict and Strife — Rank 3: Strife

• Swap whenever a tank gets knocked back by Tide Fist.
• Utilize Glide and Infernal Strike to deal with knockbacks or move to the adds during the intermission.
• Use your sigils to interrupt the casts of the little adds during the intermission.

• Swap whenever a tank gets either Arcing Azerite or Briny Bubble.
• Tank her on the outside of the room and try to get hit by Barnacle Bash while standing inside an old bash puddle.

• When taunting the boss, use a personal or external cooldown, and have them ready while at low stacks of the debuff.
• Swap the boss before a tank reaches 10 stacks.
• Keep adds away from the boss so that they are not buffed.

• When main-tanking, focus on taking less damage and on boss movement. Your damage is also sent to your co tank.
• If you should be off-tanking, you are responsible for grouping up the little adds and staying near the main tank.

• While tanking the lovers, have them towards the outside of the room, to keep puddles out of the way of the raid.
• Make sure to keep them on opposite sides of a pillar during Painful Memories and together during Longing.
• Swap on Azshara at 4 stacks, or as needed.
• Utilize your sigils in coordination with your raid to deal with adds.
