The War Within Leveling Guide: Zone Progression, Adventure Mode, and More
The following guide provides general information about leveling in the War Within expansion and explains the differences between leveling your main and alts.

What is the Required Level for the War Within Intro Questline?
Your character needs to be at least Level 68 to be able to start the War Within intro questline.
Leveling Zone Order in the War Within Expansion
Your first character must follow a linear progression path, and the zones must be visited in the following order:
- Isle of Dorn (Level 70-73);
- The Ringing Deeps (Level 73-75);
- Hallowfall (Level 75-78);
- Azj-Kahet (Level 78-80).

Level-Up Dungeons
The following level-up dungeons will be available before you reach Level 80.
- The Rookery;
- The Stonevault;
- Priory of the Sacred Flame;
- Ara-Kara, City of Echoes.
Experience Requirements for Level 80 in the War Within
The main level-up campaign only consists of 3 chapters per zone and, so you should focus on completing as many side quests as possible in each zone.
In total, you will need 2,481,285 XP to reach Level 80 in the new expansion.
- Level 70: 225105 XP
- Level 71: 247375 XP
- Level 72: 270190 XP
- Level 73: 293540 XP
- Level 74: 317430 XP
- Level 75: 341865 XP
- Level 76: 366835 XP
- Level 77: 392350 XP
- Level 78: 418405 XP
- Level 79: 445000 XP
Adventure Mode in the War Within
When you reach Level 80, you will unlock Adventure Mode for alts!
This means all your future characters will start at Delver's Headquarters and can freely pick the zone order for replaying the campaign or level up via World Quests and events.
Skyriding and Leveling
Skyriding will be available immediately from the start of the War Within without any limits.

Chromie Time in the War Within covers levels 10-71 and includes Dragonflight as the default option.
