World Bosses in The War Within Expansion: Locations & Rewards

The following guide covers World Bosses in the War Within expansion. We list their spawn location, loot tables, and provide tips for all the class roles.

The War Within expansion currently contains 5 world bosses that you can defeat for loot. Four of the world bosses that originally launched with the expansion are on a fixed rotation, meaning only one will spawn each week. The fifth boss added in Patch 11.1.0 spawns every week.

The World Boss rotation in The War Within expansion is the following:

• Every Week: The Gobfather (Undermine).
• Week 1: Shurrai (Hallowfall).
• Week 2: Aggregation of Horrors (Ringing Deeps).
• Week 3: Orta (Azj-Kahet).
• Week 4: Kordac (Isle of Dorn).

Once a source of pride for the Bilgewater Cartel, this mech was a force to be reckoned with in the Demolition Dome. A pinnacle of goblin innovation.. until someone forgot to give it an oil change. Now the King of the Demo Dome has gone haywire, running amok and threatening to unleash havoc upon the citizens of Undermine.

The Gobfather will not go down without a final fight, scattering Primed Boomcrawlers with Bombfield and knocking back players with Giga-Rocket Slam. At 100 energy it pulls out all the stops, raining down Death From Above.

The Gobfather has a chance to drop Item Level 642 Champion 3/8 gear.

Kordac spawns in the Isle of Dorn.

Barely functional or even remembered, Kordac's disrepair forces him to remain a dormant observer. Even upon detecting the void somewhere below, he was forced into inaction. But that's changed. The unidentifiable lifeforms who have arrived at the Isle of Dorn are powerful enough to potentially pose a threat to Azeroth. And so he stands against us. And so we stand against him.

Kordac defends Azeroth, targeting players with Overcharged Lasers which leave Overcharged Earth and Empowering Coalescence in their wake. Upon reaching 100 Energy, he rains down Arcane Bombardment.

• Empowering Coalescence can be collected for a brief damage increase.
• Overcharged Lasers will pursue players and leave behind Overcharged Earth.

• Overcharged Lasers will pursue players and leave behind Overcharged Earth.
• Supression Burst pacifies and silences any players near its target when it detonates.

• Kordac's Titanic Impact inflicts high damage and launches players into the air.

An abomination birthed from void-tainted remnants of Skardyn, the Aggregation of Horrors stands as a unified monstrosity. This dread entity is poised to unleash its terrifying plague upon The Ringing Deeps.

The Aggregation of Horrors expels shards of rock during Crystalline Barrage. These shards arise Fractured Skardyn during Dark Awakening.

• Voidquake inflicts Shadow damage to players caught within 150 yards.
• The Aggregation of Horrors casts Annihilation Barrage when no players are in melee combat.
• Dark Awakening creates Fractured Skardyn that attack nearby players.

Shurrai spawns in Hallowfall.

The sea floor hides horrors beyond our imagining. Hallowfall's proximity to the Undersea brings it near the reach of creatures of the deep, and the kobyss are only eager to take advantage. Their summons raise Shurrai, Atrocity of the Undersea, to wreak havoc on their hunting grounds. Shurrai is an amalgamation of the worst terrors and putrefying flesh of the abyssal depths, and the Arathi will need all the help they can get to stop it.

Shurrai showers players with Briny Vomit before washing away both players and vomit with Dark Tide. At 100 energy, Shurrai casts Regurgitate Souls, summoning Drowned Arathi and shielding himself with Shroud of the Drowned.

Orta rattles against the shackles of his infection, shattering the ground with Colossal Slam and invoking Rupturing Runes. At 100 energy, Orta will cast Tectonic Roar, knocking all players away with his bellow.
