Complete Guide to Worldsoul Memory Event in WoW: The War Within

Confront Azeroth's memories in the Worldsoul Memory event, where you will earn valuable rewards by completing increasingly challenging encounters.

1.

Introduction

Worldsoul Memory is an outdoor event available to max-level characters in the War Within expansion. It can be up in any of the four Khaz Algar zones and you will see where the event is currently available based on the Azerite icon on your world map. When you mouse over the icon, you will find additional information such as the time left before the event rotates to a different zone.

Radiant Echoes

You cannot start the event if you do not have any Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echoes. These drop from Delves and you will receive some from the Pinnacle Cache Icon Pinnacle Cache that you receive from various other activities and quests.

Worldsoul Memory Difficulties

Three difficulties are available for the Worldsoul Memory event. The higher difficulty, the better rewards you will receive at the end of your run.

  • Radiant Echo (Easiest Difficulty) — Release a Radiant Echo to experience these memories. You will be granted visions of Azeroth's memories for 5 minutes (Azeroth's Vision buff). Costs 1 Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echo to start.
  • Many Radiant Echoes (Medium Difficulty) — Release 5 Radiant Echoes at once, increasing your rewards from this memory. You will receive the Azeroth's Vision buff for 5 minutes and 5x the normal amount of Coffer Key Shard Icon Coffer Key Shard in this mode. Costs 5 Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echoes to start.
  • Radiant Discord (Hardest Difficulty) — Crush five Radiant Echoes in your first, increasing this memory to the maximum difficulty. This one grants 5x the normal amount of Coffer Key Shard Icon Coffer Key Shard, but this difficulty comes with a hard mode. Mythic Challenge Icon Mythic Challenge causes Azeroth to defend itself against your presence and death will immediately remove you from the vision. Costs 5 Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echo and unlocking it requires the A Series of Echoes Icon A Series of Echoes achievement.

Event Overview

To start the event, approach the giant ball on the ground and interact with it to choose your difficulty and deposit Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echoes.

Once the event begins, you will receive the Azeroth's Voice buff and have have 5 minutes to complete the event.

Worldsoul Memory Score

Your current Worldsoul Memory Score will be displayed in the top of the screen. You can increase your score by killing mobs, defeating rares, and mining Azerite, and looting interactible objects.

Stage 1

During stage 1 of the event, you must defeat as many hostile visions as possible under 5 minutes.Focus on killing elites and mining Azerite to increase your score. You will see other players in the phase, so you can use that to your advantage and tag along. This stage will last for 5 minutes, but it will end sooner when you increase your score to a certain threshhold.

Stage 2

During stage 2, you must defeat a boss. In our case specific case it was Bloodscar, but the bosses will be different for each Worldsoul Memory.

Stage 3

The third stage is called Soothing the Worldsoul and you will have 30 seconds to kill additional mobs and mine Azerite before the event concludes.

Dying During the Worldsoul Memory Event

You will respawn upon dying on the first two difficulties. However, if you die in a Radiant Discord, you must start over and deposit more Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echoes to start again.

10.

Worldsoul Memory Rewards

Depending on your score, you will receive Coffer Key Shard Icon Coffer Key Shard that you can combine into Restored Coffer Key Icon Restored Coffer Keys and Valorstones Icon Valorstones used for gear upgrading at the end of the event.

Repeatability

There is no cap on how many times you can complete the event, however, you will always need Radiant Echo Icon Radiant Echoes to start it.
