Zenless Zone Zero 300 Pulls Additional Recruitment Guide
Learn about the Stable Channel's Additional Recruitment in Zenless Zone Zero! Our Additional Recruitment Guide provides a brief overview of how the feature works and how to choose an Agent.
Additional Recruitment at 300 Signal Searches
What is the Additional Recruitment Feature?
After conducting a total of 300 Signal Searches on the Stable Channel, players can choose 1 -Rank Agent from the options provided.
This feature, called Additional Recruitment, is only available once per account. It is permanently available until an Agent is chosen. Players can keep track of their progress with the Signal Search Bar in the bottom-right of the Stable Channel Interface, or by choosing to view the "Selectable Agents" menu. From this menu, players can select different Agents to preview basic stats, skills, and other information.
The -Rank Agent options include the following characters:
Players can also try a playable demonstration before selecting an Agent. After players have selected an Agent of their choice, players will no longer have a pity guarantee of any Agent in particular.
Please note: This offer is only available on the Stable Channel. Any Encrypted Master Tapes (used for the Exclusive Channel or W-Engine Channel) or Boopons (used for the Bangboo Channel) used in their respective Channels, will not contribute to your Additional Recruitment progress. Only Master Tapes or Polychrome used for the Stable Channel will work.
Agent Selection Guide
Before deciding which Agent to go for, players are highly advised to take advantage of the New Player Discount and Guarantee available in the Stable Channel first. You will get a 20% discount on your first five Ten-Searches (up to 50 Signal Searches), as well as a guaranteed -Rank Agent from the same selection as the Additional Recruitment. You may end up getting an -Rank Agent that you desire, which can change your mind on who to pick for the Additional Recruitment.
For more information on this benefit, please check out the section on Stable Channel.
In addition, players should try out each Agent's playable demonstration first before deciding. This can be found through the Additional Recruitment menu within the Stable Channel.
Keep in mind that conducting 300 Signal Searches total is a significant number of Signals. At maximum on the Stable Channel, it only takes 90 Signal Searches to receive an -Rank Signal (which may be an Agent or W-Engine). So you may receive the Agent you desire sooner than when the Additional Recruitment requirement is fulfilled.
On the Exclusive Channel, it is also possible to receive -Rank Agents from the Stable Channel, if you do not obtain the limited-time -Rank Agent. For more information on how the Signal Guarantee works for the Exclusive Channel, please check out the Pity section on Signal Seach Overview .
How Do I Decide on an Agent to Choose?
First and foremost: You should always go for the Agent you like the most. Players may have a preference for an Agent's aesthetics, playstyle, or squad contribution potential. If you end up picking an Agent you dislike, you may be discouraged from playing entirely, so making an informed opinion is encouraged.
Players may decide they want a new Agent, someone they do not have yet.
Maybe this Agent is someone who has a different playstyle, or someone who can synergize really well with
the Squad compositions you can play with. Another reason for picking a new Agent is that whenever their level cap is raised,
you can receive Master Tapes, which can be used to Signal Search on the Stable Channel.
There is a limited number of Master Tapes per Agent available, and you will not
receive more after they reach the maximum level cap.
Therefore, if you pick a new Agent, who you have not invested in before,
you will be able to receive additional Master Tapes.
Finally, depending on which Game Modes you play the most in Zenless Zone Zero, you may find having more Agents available to choose from is beneficial.
One benefit of picking an Agent you already have is that you can benefit from their Mindscape Cinema. Depending on how much you play that Agent, or how much you plan to invest in them, this may be more beneficial to you than receiving a new Agent altogether.
While this guide will not cover all account possibilities nor reasons to pick one Agent over another, players should ultimately make a decision based on their personal goals for Zenless Zone Zero.
With all of that in mind, please check out each available Agent below! Players can also view the Tier List to see the comparison between each Agent.
