Caesar King's Best W-Engines

Listed below are Caesar King's best W-Engines. While W-Engines are listed in a priority order, what is best to build on your Caesar King can vary slightly depending on your team composition.

Tusks of Fury

Invincible Rider
The Shield value provided by the equipper increases by 30/38/46/52/60%. When any squad member triggers Interrupt or Perfect Dodge, all squad members' DMG increases by 18/22.5/27/31.5/36% and Daze dealt increases by 12/15/18/21/24% for 20s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Original Transmorpher

Starlight Knight Flying Kick
Increases Max HP by 8/9/10/11/12.5%. When attacked, the equipper's Impact is increased by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 12s.

Spring Embrace

Hot Spring Soup
Reduces DMG taken by 7.5/8.5/9.5/10.5/12%. When attacked, the equipper's Energy Generation Rate increases by 10/11.5/13/14.5/16% for 12s. When the equipper switches off-field, this buff will be transferred to the new on-field character with its duration refreshed. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Peacekeeper - Specialized

Standard Blocking Technique
While Shielded, the equipper's Energy Regen increases by 0.4/0.46/0.52/0.58/0.64/s. The Anomaly Buildup of EX Special Attacks and Assist Follow-Ups increase by 36/40/45/50/55%.

Best Drive Discs for Caesar King

Proto Punk

2-Piece Set: Increases Shield effect by 15%.
4-Piece Set: When any squad member triggers a Defensive Assist or Evasive Assist, all squad members deal 15% increased DMG, lasting 10s. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Astral Voice

2-Piece Set: ATK +10%
4-Piece Set: Whenever any squad member enters the field using a Quick Assist, all squad members gain 1 stack of Astral, up to a maximum of 3 stacks, and lasting 15s. Repeated triggers reset the duration. Each stack of Astral increases the DMG dealt by the character entering the field using a Quick Assist by 8%. Passive effects of the same name do not stack.

Caesar King's Stat Priority

When building Caesar King, Impact is the most important stat to focus on because her Aegis Shield scales on 300% of her base Impact + 200.

Caesar King's most important skills to level are her Core Skill, Assist, and Special.

How to Play Caesar King

Caesar King is a defensive support buffer who mostly plays off-field, but regularly jumps in to refresh her shield and buff, and accumulate Daze rapidly before swapping back to your Main DPS who will get the Shield and buffs. She has the ability to defend, buff her team, and debuff enemies at the same time.

Caesar King is basically a reactive frontliner who revolves around Perfect Blocks and Retaliations. Her goal is to trigger EX Special Attack: Parry Counter as enemies attack, activating Perfect Block to negate damage and follow up with EX Special Attack: Overpowered Shield Bash.

This sequence will apply Radiant Aegis, providing a large shield, increased Anti-Interrupt, and granting a bonus ATK buff.

Once Radiant Aegis is active, Caesar should rotate off-field, because the shield is only counting on the active character. This means that you want to swap directly to your main DPS after Caesar, to allow the main DPS to take advantage of all the buffs.

Swap her back in to refresh debuffs, trigger Defensive Assists for Daze, or even bait heavy enemy attacks for additional Perfect Blocks.

Caesar performs best in aggressive fights where she can consistently counter incoming attacks and maintain shield uptime. If your enemies are not attacking, she is basically useless. But if you manage to constantly counter, she can be an insane squad member.

Caesar King's Best Mindscapes

Caesar has good Mindscapes. Her M1 is definitely worth getting as she will apply her shield directly upon switching in combat. Her M2 gives her a small boost but can be overlooked. However, her M4 and M6 are rather powerful boosts in damage for herself and her entire team.

If you need to pick between her W-Engine and M1, you might want to pick the W-Engine since the options are rather limited for her.
