Elpis Ultimate Angler Championship Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero

This event will take place from February 14, 2025 until March 10, 2025.

The Elpis Ultimate Angler Championship Event is part of the Ridu Chronicles, which means you will have access to the event after the time is over. However, some rewards are time-limited and will not be obtainable afterwards anymore.

During the Event, team up with Qingyi, catch fish, and prepare the Lighthouse! You may get access to a new Island!

In order to participate in The Elpis Ultimate Angler Championship you have to reach Inter-Knot level 23 and complete the Main Story Chapter 2: Intermission. We recommend you complete the Main Story Chapter 5: A Storm of Falling Stars first as well.

Head to Sixth Street and talk to Qingyi near the video store. After the discussion, you get teleported to Port Elpis. Meet with Qingyi again. Head to the fishing spot after and learn how to fish!

You will have to complete various commissions that will reward you with Angler Points. The points will increase your Fishing Permit level, and let you exchange rewards.

When you fish, a circle will appear. Once it reaches the outline of the fishing button, press it to successfully hook the fish. This will lead you into a fierce battle with the fish:

• When the prompt appears, press repeatedly to deplete the fish's stamina.
• When the Hold prompt appears, hold down the button to deplete the fish's stamina
• When the stamina is fully depleted, you will be able to catch the fish

Once the Stamina is empty, you catch the Fish:

The more you fish, the higher your Permit level will be. You will also fill your fish Aquarium. The is some Bonus Discoveries you can catch. You will have all the details for each discovery displayed on the side. It will tell you the active hours and what you need to achieve first.

In between competition days, you can also complete small Fishing Festival quests that can be found on the port. It usually just consist in helping other Agents to catch a few fishes, or complete some small Hollow commission for them.

Do not forget to also complete the commissions with Qingyi in order to finish the full event quest. Some will unlock each day.

During the event, you can earn the following rewards:

Completing the the limited time reward missions will also reward you with the following limited-timed rewards:
