Into That Pale Wasteland Event Guide for Zenless Zone Zero

This event will take place during from December 27th, 2024 until January 20th, 2025.

This event is part of the Ridu Chronicles: this means the event will still be playable after the time is over, however you will not be able to obtain the limited rewards anymore!

When Hollows exist it always comes with endless troubles: The Irradiant Core has appeared in the skies of the Hollow Melinoe, and Proxies need to team up with Section 6 again! Help them eradicate the new calamities in the pale wasteland.

During this event you will also be able to play with all the Hollow Special Operations Section 6 members!

You will have to assist Section 6 in various commissions. Completing those will reward you with Supply Vouchers that can be exchanged for rewards.

During the event, you can play as Hoshimi Miyabi and Tsukishiro Yanagi.

In order to participate you need to reach Inter-Knot Lv. 23 and Main Story Chapter 2 Intermission. While it is not required, we recommend you also complete Chapter 5 A Storm of Falling Stars before you do this event.

Start by talking to Tsukishiro Yanagi in front of the video store on Sixth Street. She will tell you more about Melinoe and ask for your help to navigate through the Hollow.

After the discussion, head to HAND, in the new Melinoe Hollow Entrance zone:

Talk to Ferrier to access the Event:

Enter the Hollow and start exploring. Complete the Field Manual missions to claim rewards and obtain Field Experience required to increase your investigation level.

As you level up you will have access to Combat Permits required to enhance your Agents inside the event.

Every time you level up, enemies inside the Melinoe Hollow will become more powerful.

You will obtain Supply Vouchers that can be exchanged against the rewards listed further down.

For the first mission you will have to meet up with Hoshimi Miyabi. She will be playable, even if you do not have her.

During the event, you will be able to navigate as Hoshimi Miyabi and collect Irradiant Crystals! Don't be scared in case you miss some. They can all be collected through the Free Exploration Mode afterwards!

You will also find Phantom Disruptor during your exploration. Align both sides until a fluorescent prompt appears.

After the first mission, you will level up, and be able to choose some boosts for Hoshimi Miyabi. You can pick the ones you feel the most comfortable with. They can always be reset, and you should be able to get them all by the end of the event:

After the first mission you have access to both Hoshimi Miyabi and Tsukishiro Yanagi. The stages are all similar:

• Explore
• Follow the event quest
• Collect the Irradiant Crystal
• Complete the missions

The quest leads you extremely well through the stages, making this event rather relaxing to go through. You do not have much to do outside of following the quest, defeating the few enemies on your way, and collecting the couple of Crystals. The Missions complete automatically as you advance in the quest as well.

Look out for breakable objects, they often lead to additional Supply Chests with a few items inside.

Some parts of the Event are special: You will have to control Eous and complete a small platform-type stage. With Eous you can Jump or Dash forward. Follow The path of coins, and the arrows to get out of the Maze. The path is rather straight forward as well so there is no room for getting lost.

During your time as Eous, make sure to take the save points, otherwise if you fall down you will have to restart from the beginning. They only activate if you walk on them.

In this event, you will also be able to get a brand new A-Rank W-Engine: Marcato Desire!

The W-Engine is part of the limited rewards, so make sure to complete the event before the time is over, even if it is a Ridu Chronicles Event.
