Promeia Best Team Compositions and Character Synergies
Promeia's Best Teams, Bangboo & Character Synergies
Welcome to our Promeia team composition guide for Zenless Zone Zero. In this guide, we'll explore the best teams to build for Promeia, including recommended Agents, character synergies, and Bangboo to help Promeia reach her full damage potential.
Best Pairings and Synergies With Promeia
Promeia is an Anomaly DPS Agent who is primarily meant to be played on-field as a Main DPS alongside a second Anomaly Agent (or Stun). Promeia pairs well with other Agents who can trigger Ablooms, and Anomaly squad members can benefit from Promeia's faction bonus, which allows Abloom DMG to ignore enemy DEF.
Promeia can unleash large portions of her damage through her Ablooms in a short period of time, and she also benefits from triggering Chain Attacks. This can make playing Promeia alongside a stunner beneficial, as it allows Promeia to efficiently unleash most of her damage while the enemy is stunned. Pairing that with Nangong Yu's Anomaly buffs and personal DMG (that Promeia can also buff) allows for decent synergy between the two. Ablooms from other Agents, such as Nangong Yu's, will also benefit from Promeia.
For most teams, Support Agents, especially Yuzuha, will be greatly appreciated for the buffs they provide. With Promeia, you can play a support agent alongside a second Anomaly Agent or alongside Nangong Yu.
Promeia would typically be played alongside other Anomaly Agents (or Nangong Yu) where the second Anomaly Agent applies their Anomaly to trigger Disorders and gain resources towards Promeia's Ablooms. Agents who can trigger Ablooms of their own, such as Vivian, Burnice, or Grace, can have even better synergy with Promeia as she gains even more resources when a squad member triggers Abloom.
Vivian can possibly pair well with Promeia, as Vivian can deal large amounts of off-field DMG through her Ablooms, and as a result team compositions with Vivian can be just as strong as with Nangong Yu. However, Promeia's repeated use of Ex-Specials can very easily drain Vivian's Flight Feather resources.
Having a stun agent in your squad is not necessary, and will likely not be much better than having a Support Agent. However, some stun agents such as Von Lycaon or Lighter can be played together with Promeia without explicit synergy.
Von Lycaon can be played in Mono-Ice teams with Miyabi or teams revolving around Promeia's own Abloom DMG. In such teams, Von Lycaon allows for faster stuns, reduces Ice RES, and can even equip the Freedom Blues set for decreased Ice Build-Up RES.
Lighter can be played in teams with Burnice White, where alongside Burnice's Ablooms and off-field Anomaly Application, Lighter helps stun enemies faster and build some Fire Anomaly from on-field, while providing large damage buffs for both Promeia and Burnice.
With Promeia being an Ice Anomaly Agent, there might be a chance where they can pair well. While they don't have particularly good synergy, both agents can deal a lot of damage, which can make such a team somewhat possible. However, the larger issue can stem from splitting uptime between both agents, as both are meant to be played on-field, which can make it especially difficult during the Stun window.
For Miyabi, Promeia does not provide useful buffs such as those that Soukaku provides in a Mono-Ice team, nor does she trigger Disorders like Tsukishiro Yanagi does. In most cases, Nangong Yu will likely be a better partner for Miyabi than Promeia.
For Promeia, Abloom DMG, the main source of Promeia's DMG, will be lower in teams with Miyabi. Miyabi is typically built for Crit and not Anomaly Proficiency, so Disorder DMG will be lower as a result, in turn reducing Promeia's Abloom DMG.
Bangboo in Promeia's Teams
With Promeia, Nangong Yu and a support
agent, you can use Knightboo as a general option or
Sharkboo with a
second Ice Agent. With Vivian, you can also use
Robin.
Promeia's Best Teams
Listed below are a range of team compositions we recommend you use with Promeia. Her best teams, however, can depend both on what boss you are against as well as any buffs present. The inclusion or exclusion of any given team does not necessarily reflect their overall power.
