The Inter-Knot Proxy Network

Inter-Knot Proxy Network

The Inter-Knot Proxy Network is a source for New Eridu City news, Hollow Zero information, and H.D.D. commission requests. By completing commissions on the Proxy Network, players can earn Inter-Knot Credit EXP, eventually reaching the reputation rank of a Legendary Proxy.

There are currently three primary features of the Proxy Network:

  • Checking Inter-Knot Level Progress
  • Checking Commissions on Today's Schedule
  • Reading and Commenting on Notifications

Players can access the Inter-Knot Proxy Network menu through the Quick Menu in the overworld, or at the bottom of the Main Menu.

Inter-Knot Level

Inter-Knot Level

The Inter-Knot Level is the Account's overall level, which has a current maximum level of 60. Increasing the Inter-Knot Level allows players to access new upgrades and features, such as: raising the level cap for Agents, W-Engines, and Bangboo; unlocking harder difficulties; and unlocking daily or weekly side content. At certain Inter-Knot Levels, players will have to complete Reputation Rank-Up missions, increasing the account's reputation up to Legendary Proxy.

As well, certain story commissions and side content features are only available after reaching a minimum Inter-Knot Level requirement.

If players have difficulties with unlocking, they should try playing other content available in the game, or complete commissions to progress the in-game day.

In general, players should aim to progress both their Inter-Knot Level and Main Story to unlock everything in the game.

To unlock the Reputation Rank-Up mission for Legendary Proxy, players will need to complete the following requirements:

  • Achieve Inter-Knot Account Level 50
  • Complete Main Story Chapter 3 - Story Commission: Strange Messages
  • Collect a minimum total of 100 Observation Data on the H.D.D.

After players have completed the Inter-Knot Level 50 Reputation Rank-Up mission, they will achieve a Legendary Proxy reputation, which is the maximum reputation an account can have currently. Everything currently available in Zenless Zone Zero will also be unlocked when you become a Legendary Proxy.

Your Account's Info

Your Info

To keep track of the account's Name, Inter-Knot UID, Rank-Up Requirements and Benefits, as well as collected H.D.D. Observation Data, players can access their account's Info through the Main Menu or the Inter-Knot Menu. This is an alternative way to review the Inter-Knot Level benefits, as well as requirements for unlocking the Reputation Rank-Up missions.

3.3.

The Proxy Primer

Proxy Primer

If players become lost on how to progress their Inter-Knot Account, they can consult the Proxy Primer. The Proxy Primer contains trial sessions, all of which have missions for the player to complete. Generally, these missions will request the player to try out certain side content or game modes; level up and upgrade their Agents, W-Engines, and Bangboo; raise an Agent's Trust level; explore the Overworld; and obtain Observation Data from the H.D.D. system.

Currently, there are a total of 9 Trial sessions available on the Proxy Primer. Whenever a player completes a mission or trial session, they will obtain rewards such as:

  • Inter-Knot Credit EXP and Dennies
  • Master Tapes for the Stable Channel
  • EXP Materials for Agents, W-Engines, and Bangboo
  • A-Rank W-Engines, such as Starlight Engine and Slice of Time
  • A-Rank Drive Discs, such as Woodpecker Electro and Shockstar Disco
  • Hi-Fi Master Copies for the Music Store's Advanced Tuning (Unlocked at Lv. 3)

Depending on a player's progress, they may fulfill the objectives for later missions before completing the current trial session. However, the later rewards are not obtainable until the current trial session is completed.

The Proxy Primer can be accessed through the Quick Menu's Compendium in the Overworld, or from the Errands notebook inside the Staff Room at the Random Play video store.

Proxy Schedule

Schedule

Another important feature of the Inter-Knot Proxy Network is the Schedule menu. The Schedule keeps track of all your current commissions, such as providing details on your current objective, a brief event summary, and what time of day is the commission active.

Combat Commission Preview

Commissions are categorized in various groups, prioritized based on time-exclusivity and plot relevance. Of the different commission groups, the Main quests are related to the main story and should be prioritized whenever possible.

Main Story Quests provide the most total Inter-Knot EXP when completed, and are also required to unlock certain game features, such as Hollow Zero, the Music Store, and other locations around New Eridu City. Some H.D.D. Commissions, Sage in the Barrel coins, and Events also require players to progress and stay updated with the Main Quest in order to participate.

Keep in mind that some commissions or characters are not available at certain parts of the day. They may also show up in different locations throughout the day for Trust, Officer Mewmew, and Sage in the Barrel objectives; all of which are not completely tracked in the Schedule. Players are encouraged to use the Time Selection or the Quick Travel menu to make completing these commissions and objectives easier. They can also rest in the Main Character's Bed or the Video Store's Sofa to make a full in-game day pass by.

5.

Network Notifications

Notifications

As players explore New Eridu City and progress through the Main Story, they may come across Notification updates to the Inter-Knot Proxy Network. Most of these keep players engaged with the game's lore beyond Story Commissions, and do not provide any notable rewards, but there are some beneficial ones such as Notifications classified under Help Request Info.

Help Request Notifications can be identified with the Exclamation Mark (!) in the posting title. As well, when interacting with conflicted characters in New Eridu City, the Main Character will occasionally suggest they send an anonymous post on the Proxy Network, where the account can accept the commission. After accepting the request, the commission will be added to the player's Schedule and made available on the H.D.D. System. In the system, the requests will be sorted between Combat and Exploration commissions across different chapters.

Players can filter these Notifications using the drop-down menu in the bottom-right corner of the Notifications screen, making it easy to find commissions that will provide rewards, such as Inter-Knot EXP and Polychromes.
