TBC Classic Protection Warrior Phase 3 / 4 Gear and Best in Slot

In this guide we will go over the different gear available for Protection Warriors in Phase Four of TBC Classic. We will offer multiple different pieces as some can be rather expensive or very hard to obtain. In addition to that, we will show you different gear to look at for threat and for pure tankiness. During Black Temple, you may also have need of additional gear devoted to maximizing your Shadow or Fire Resistance stats. Should this be the case, we recommend consulting our guides dedicated to acquiring pieces with these stats as necessary.

Finally, there may be times where you may want to stack resistance to a particular damage type. For these moments we have created additional lists detailing the best gear to maximize your Frost or Nature resistances, with Fire and Shadow resistances already mentioned above.

Phase 4 has many trinket options for us. Typically you will want to use one stamina trinket with either a threat or avoidance trinket. Some fights double stamina will be desired. Try to grab what you can reasonably. Finally, Solarian's Sapphire is a good option if you are in the melee group and do not have a DPS Warrior in the group.

Blade of Savagery is your best threat option, having an extremely fast speed and some nice threat stats. If you are an orc, The Brutalizer is better for threat, and it the better tanky option for everyone as well.

You have 4 shield options in Phase 4, one offers Hit rating and the others are slightly tankier. For dual wielding both of your main hand options make good off-hand weapons as well.
